No matter what people tell you, words and ideas can change the world.
On This Day
November 24, 1993 – Mrs. Doubtfire, starring Robin Williams as a divorced father who disguises himself as an elderly British nanny in order to spend time with his children, opens in theaters.
Robin Williams’ Humor:
“Do you think God gets stoned? I think so … look at the platypus.”
Robin Williams has been making me laugh since I was a kid; I plan to remember him not just for the silliness, but for the way his words helped so many of us appreciate life. Here are a few of my favorite he said, on and off screen:
“You’re only given one little spark of madness. You mustn’t lose it.” – RIP Robin Williams, July 21, 1951 – August 11, 2014
